Number 4 on our list is:  Take a steam train along the Battlefield Line

If you’ve not been already, then we say that this is an absolute must for your bucket list and is a great things to do in Leicestershire!

The train line goes from Shackerstone to Shenton going through Market Bosworth, and you take your trip aboard a vintage steam train taking a step back in time to when things were simpler.  The stations are quaint and picturesque and have lots to see and do, including Richard Goldings’ glass making studio. You can often see Richard working here too!  (Shenton Station). Trains run from March to November and if you want to you can try out the controls of the Engine in Footplate Experience!
