There are many historical places along our canal systems, in fact just here on our very own doorstep we have the Bosworth Battlefield, and Shackerstone Railway. These are just two of many historical stops along the 2000 miles of waterways that we have in the UK.

Did you know? The Ashby Canal is the longest contour canal in England.  The  Ashby canal was first announced in 1782 but its development was very slow.
